Yusuf Al-Hassan, PhD. CEO – Guidance Agency for Excellence: an educational consultancy company for training and re-training school administrators and teachers at all levels of educational systems. Special Advisor, Vocational Education Development, Kano State, Nigeria. He advises the Governor of Kano State on matters affecting vocational education in Kano State. Dr. Al-Hassan has long been an active member of numerous professional organizations dedicated to the advancement of STEM education and has been honored for his work five times as Outstanding Technology Educator of the year, and also, as Teacher of the year in Technology Education.
Dr. Mauricio Castillo wears many hats. He is best known as a researcher in S.T.E.A.M education. His research includes topics related to technology and engineering education, particularly the development of assessment tools for evaluating the effectiveness of secondary, post-secondary, and corporate education programs. As an early adopter of the Web, he has helped industry and education take advantage of online tools and opportunities. He has consulted with numerous international companies to help provide engineering design solutions and online systems. Before earning his doctorate and joining the CSULA faculty, he taught industrial arts and engineering for eight years at the secondary level. When not teaching at CSULA, or consulting, you will find Mauricio delivering professional development to educators of all levels on engineering, program design and authentic assessment practices. He lives in Los Angeles with his wife (high school sweet-heart) and their wonderful children.
Doug Devine is an award-winning educator, and has been recognized for inspiring many of his students to follow in his footsteps and become technology educators themselves. As one of the earliest adopters of web-based interactive CTE curricula, he taught web coding, mobile game design, operating systems, and web animation. Always a life-long learner, he taught automotive technologies before jumping into teaching game development. Doug saw how rapidly careers and industry were changing and knew he wanted to be a part of teaching new web technologies that were just appearing on the horizon. Recently, one of his students became the first to earn the new Web Animator International Industry-Recognized Certification from WebProfessionalsGlobal.org. Doug stays true to his roots and still teaches some automotive courses as he continues to grow his web technologies programs. When not inspiring the next generation of web technologists and technology educators, he can be found hunting and fishing in the wilds of Wisconsin.
Daniel Foreman has over twenty-five years as a professional in ICT. His technology firm focuses on web development, accessibility, and e-learning. Daniel holds several certifications from WebProfessionalsGlobal.org, and has co-authored training courses to support many of the association’s certificates. Before and during COVID, Daniel led online technology boot camps for urban core teens. He enjoys the process of writing and publishing books on various web technologies. He works with Ghanaian charity schools to establish their first web presence. When not working or learning new technology, he can be found walking along the sea coast with his beautiful Ghanaian wife, Diana.
David Jackson is the Owner of Tekkii. He started Tekkii in 2015 from a passion to help people better understand and utilize technology to benefit themselves and their communities. David is well versed in all things web, from coding and design to marketing and branding. When not at Tekkii, David enjoys traveling, cooking, playing guitar / keyboard, reading (mostly about History), and eating at new restaurants.
Raju Patel is the Founder and CEO of Treesha Infotech, a company that specializes in open-source development with offerings in web application development, mobile application development, and others. In addition, he’s the owner of Moodle Solution, the world’s most popular eLearning platform with services in consulting, installation, custom themes, dashboard development, web apps, API integration, and many others, all with PHP development services. Raju also graduated First Class with a BE in Computer Science from the Acharya Institute of Technology in Bangalore. He’s also trilingual in English, Gujarati and Hindi.
Jessica Wilson – has been teaching for 12 years; 8 years Haven, KS High School. As a high school teacher, Jessica understands the needs of students; particularly those living in more rural areas. She has a strong passion for teaching and helping her students reach their fullest potential to prepare them for their post-secondary success.
